The Font Salada is a charming three star, rural hotel and restaurant situated 4km south of Oliva. Its geographical location offers a perfect combination for tourism. From beautiful beaches to the tranquility of the inland areas and adventure activities. Cultural tourism is plentiful and available within a short proximity to the hotel. Cities such as Oliva, Denia and Gandia have important economic activity and are highly populated, not forgetting their historic centres where the traditional fiestas are celebrated, the Fallas, Moors and Christians and Easter parades. The cuisine is exquisite with famous international dishes such as fideuà, paella and arroz a banda.

The hotel comprises of three main buildings, built and restored using bio construction. There is an extensive garden, a 145m2 swimming pool, a pond, an ecological orchard, a farm, horses and more than 43,000m2 of oranges groves belonging to the grounds surrounding the hotel.

The first of the three buildings is a very old, small cultivation house which has been converted into the reception of the hotel. The second building houses 5 double bedrooms which are decorated with a modern, minimalist design. While the third and most important construction was a typical, Valencia irrigation house (called Alqueìa), which has been converted into the restaurant, a living room and nine double bedrooms with a rustic décor. The Font Salada is a place where you can enjoy both rustic and modern atmospheres entwined.

Special Features

Constructed and restored with the following bio construction criteria:

-Thermal insulation and sound proofing using natural cork plaques around the perimeter of the hotel, the roof, all bedrooms and bathrooms.

-All the wood used throughout the hotel is from a forest sustainable development in Sueca. Cert. FSC.

-Silicon based paint has been used.

-Restored furniture.

-Energy supplied by wind, thermal solar energy and propane gas.

-100% purification and recycling of water from the hotel for irrigating the land. We don’t waste a drop of water!.

-All the materials used for construction are from local craftsmen or neighbouring communities.

-An annual recuperation of 400.000 liters of rain water re-used for irrigation purposes.

-All buildings have a south, south east orientation.

Our restaurant offers specialty Valencia cooking, a selection of rice dishes and a vegetarian menu. Where possible non modified, natural ingredients are used.

100% natural latex mattresses.
